Just For Youth

Habits Are Formed Early

Humans are creatures of habit. Developing sound saving habits at an early age can have a significant impact on the financial futures of our youth. Making good financial choices, early on in life, can help individuals develop a comfortable relationship with – and automatic response to – common banking decisions.

For elementary and  high school students, we offer a number of unique savings accounts and program, providing youth with the opportunity to learn and practice healthy savings habits.

Children Under 3 Years Of Age

Your child/grandchild must be the primary owner of his/her own savings account, and a deposit of at least $5.00 must be made each quarter. Members less than 18 years of age can open a Certificate of Deposit with a minimum balance of $250.00. They will also earn an additional .01% for each birthday they have reached, with a maximum addition of .17% above our standard rate.

*An early withdrawal penalty may be assessed for early maturity based on the term.
