System Conversion & New Mobile App

System Changes and New Mobile App Coming June 2nd

At FLAG Credit Union, we’re dedicated to providing a convenient and professional banking experience to our members. To further support your financial needs into the future, we will convert our core data processing system to a new and improved platform effective June 2nd, 2022.

Please know our leadership and staff are committed to making this conversion a smooth and easy process for all. Our entire organization has spent many months planning for the change. We thank you in advance for your patience throughout the process and, as always, for your loyal membership.

What will not change

  • Current loan terms, as well as any payment due dates will remain the same.
  • Checks, debit cards, and credit cards will not be affected.
  • Debit and credit card numbers will remain the same including Debit Card Personal Identification Numbers (PINs).
  • Member account numbers will remain the same, so direct deposits should not need to be updated. However, account suffixes will change and this might affect ACH, MICR, etc.

Important changes

  • The current FLAG Mobile App will no longer work as of May 31st. You will need to download the new Bay/FLAG Credit Union app.
  • To access Mobile Banking, you will need to first log in to the online banking platform (using the login credentials instructions noted below) to reset your password as the mobile app does not currently support password resets.
  • e-Statements will not carry over for members to review past transactions. A paper statement will be issued for the month of May and available to all members in early June – including those enrolled in e-statements. The first e-statement available through online banking will be in early July. We advise you to print your account history and last few statements from Online Banking prior to the conversion for reference. You may also request printed copies of your statements in a branch.
  • Be advised payroll will post by transaction code and splits may not occur.
  • Although member account numbers will remain the same, account suffixes will change and this might affect ACH, Share Draft MICR, etc.
  • All share accounts (including savings, clubs, IRA, etc.) will be paid dividends monthly instead of quarterly.

Bill Pay Changes

  • BILL PAY IS NOT CONVERTING! We recommend printing a hard copy of your existing payees for future reference prior to May 31st.
  • Any Payments and/or Recurring Models scheduled to be processed Electronically with a Payment Date of 6/1/22 will be processed. Anything scheduled to process as electronic with a greater date will not be processed.
  • Any Payments and/or Recurring Models scheduled to be processed via Paper with a Payment Date up to or equal to 6/7/22 will be picked up and sent out the door on 6/1/22. Anything with greater date will not be processed.

Login information

  • Current Mobile and Online Banking Login IDs / Usernames will be reset to your base account number without account suffix, and your password will be updated to the last 4 of the primary member’s social security number.
  • You will need to reenroll in online/mobile banking To do so, after the conversion is complete (June 2nd, 2pm),
  1. Visit FLAGCU.com and click "ENROLL" in the Online Banking section of the homepage
  2. Complete the enrollment form using your base account number without account suffix as your Member ID and the last 4 digits of the primary member's social security number as the Audio PIN. Note: if you've changed your Audio PIN in the Audio Banking System, you'll need to use that PIN in the Audio PIN box.
  3. Click "Next". You'll then be asked to create your username and password.
  4. Next you'll be prompted to setup security challenge questions and enroll in estatements.

Important dates

Friday, May 27th is the last day to order debit cards or PIN reorders until the new system is live.

  • If you know your Debit Card is lost or damaged please notify us immediately so the old card can be deactivated and a new card issued. Delays in ordering will create delays in receiving the cards and resetting PIN numbers.

Tuesday, May 31st at 5 PM Audio, Mobile, and Online Banking as well as Bill Pay will become unavailable; debit cards move to offline processing; and final statements are processed on the current system.

  • Please complete all online banking transactions, mobile transactions, and account transfers prior to 5 PM on May 31st.
  • While debit cards are in offline processing, you will be able to make purchases, but those will be accepted or declined according to industry stand-in limits which may be different than actual account balances. To avoid any NSF fees, please make sure you have an accurate account balance at 3 PM and keep a register of any transactions made.
  • Although debit card access will be available it is advised to keep extra cash on hand or consider using a major credit card for larger purchases.
  • If you need to schedule bill payments you will also need to do so prior to 5 PM on May 31st. Anything scheduled to be paid prior to the close of business on this day will process.
  • Hardcopy statements will be produced for all members, including those who receive electronic statements.
  • The creation of new Bill Pay transactions will be unavailable starting Tuesday, May 31st after 5 PM till Thursday June 2nd at 2 PM Please be advised to visit the biller’s direct site, if available, for new payments.

  • The branch and electronic banking systems will be closed. Any business that cannot wait to be handled on June 2nd after 2PM must be completed before closing of business on Tuesday, May 31st.
